Amerikick North Penn’s Muay-Thai program is run by Sensei John Connor. With over 20 years of experience in Martial Arts, Sensei John shares his knowledge and skill with multiple Martial Arts disciplines to his students everyday.

Muay Thai is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs.” Using eight points of contact, the body mimics weapons of war: Hands – the sword and dagger; Shins & Forearms – armor against blows; Elbow – to strike opponents like a heavy mace or hammer; Legs & Knees – the ax and staff. The body operates as one unit. The knees and elbows constantly searching and testing for an opening while grappling and controlling an opponent.
Anyone, male or female, is welcome to join. We train in the art of Boxing, Take Downs, Self-Defense, Stand-up Striking, and Clinching. Everything is used: fists, elbows, knees and shins to give you an unbelievable training. While there is contact by students within the classes, we make our curriculum safe for male and female students. Competition training is also available at the advanced level.
